The Kno2 platform allows an administrator to designate the location for exported files. This is configured in Intake Download settings and is generally set to a network location. The folder name designated in Intake Download will be automatically created on the first download and found in your Documents folder. This is where exported files will be found. In order for the Kno2 Document Export client to function properly, you will need to connect to the designated remote share.

Complete the following steps:

  1. Open the Finder.

  2. From the Go menu, select Connect to Server

  3. Enter the IP address or the remote computer’s PC name preceded by smb://

  4. You will next be prompted to enter your network credentials. When connecting to a Windows server, this will be your Windows username and password. (For login help, please see your system administrator).

  5. Select the shared folder designated by your Kno2 administrator in the Intake Download settings.

  6. Select OK. The shared folder will now be accessible from your Mac, enabling the Kno2 Document Export client to export Kno2 files.
