The following are the capabilities of the Modernizing Medicine (EMA) Integration:
Patient Lookup
Search for an active patient in EMA by one or more of the following criteria:
Patient First Name (full or partial)
Patient Last Name (full or partial)
Date of Birth (DOB)
Gender
Also, dynamically add a Document Type from the drop-down list, populated directly from the "Category" list in your EHR!
Document Upload
Documents are automatically uploaded to the selected patient record in EMA. Documents are added under "Attachments" within the patient record, named by the File Name and Category/Document Type selected in Kno2. This file name and Document Date are both editable in Kno2 at the time of processing.
Please note: The Document Notes in Kno2 are not used by the Modernizing Medicine integration.
