The following are the capabilities of the RevolutionEHR Integration:

Patient Search

Search for an active patient in RevolutionEHR by one or more of the following criteria:

  • Patient First Name (full or partial)

  • Patient Last Name (full or partial)

  • Date of Birth (DOB)

  • Gender

New Patient Add (coming soon)

When a document is received for a new patient that does not exist in RevolutionEHR, the basic patient detail, including the patient's first name, last name, middle initial/name, date of birth (DOB), gender and/or address are entered into Kno2 and the user can Add a New patient to RevolutionEHR from Kno2. Once added, the user continues to assign the document information and uploads the document attached to the new patient created in the EHR.

Please note: Only the patient's first name, last name, date of birth (DOB), and gender are required to add a new patient.

Document Upload

Documents are automatically uploaded to the select patient record in RevolutionEHR. Documents are added to a Folder named by the Document Type selected in Kno2. If the folder does not exist at the time of upload, the folder will be automatically created. Documents are stored under the appropriate folder and retain the name of the file displayed in Kno2. This file name is editable in Kno2 at the time of processing.

Please note: The Document Date and the Document Notes in Kno2 are not used by the RevolutionEHR integration.

Locate the Document in RevolutionEHR

When a document from Kno2 has been uploaded to the EHR, you can locate the document by logging into RevolutionEHR, and go to Patients (upper left) > Search for your patient and select Search button. Select patient from list that displays below. Select Documents/Images from left hand menu and navigate to the Document Type folder you selected in Revolution. Select the folder and then browse for the document you uploaded in the list.
