Patient search for Integrated EHRs

If your Kno2 Connected™ app is integrated for Patient Search, you can quickly associate patient details to a message.

Patient Search is available in My Intake for indexing received messages prior to using Download to EMR, and in Release and Desktop for identifying messages prior to sending.


To perform a patient search in My Intake or Release

  • Click the magnifying glass to the right of Patient Details.

  • Search by First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Patient ID, or MRN.

  • If the patient is not an active patient, check the box for Show Inactive Patients.

  • Select the patient.

  • The patient detail fields will be populated with information from your EHR.

To perform a patient search in Desktop

  • Click the magnifying glass to the right of Patient Details.

  • Search by First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Patient ID, or MRN.

  • If the patient is not an active patient, check the box for Show Inactive Patients.

  • Select the patient.

  • The patient detail fields will be populated with information from your EHR.
