How to configure FHIR Integration in your Kno2 Account

FHIR Integration Configuration

  • Please send a request to support@kno2.com to request that FHIR functionality be enabled for your Kno2 organization(s). Please note: the Kno2 Team will confirm as soon as this has been enabled and configuration may proceed.

  • In Kno2 - access Settings (gear icon) > API.

  • Choose the '+' under the section for Kno2 Integrations.

FHIR Configuration Details

  1. Integration Type = FHIR

  2. Integration URL = Integration URL route from your EMR

  3. Authentication Type = OAuth2 Client Credentials

  4. Token Url = URL route from your EMR

  5. Client Id = username, from your EMR, used to authenticate the remote service

  6. Client Secret = password, from your EMR, used to authenticate the remote service

  7. Select the checkbox for Use Basic Authentication

  8. Choose Add

At any point - take advantage of Check Connection (checkmark icon) to verify that what has been entered is successfully connecting to your EMR.

You're ready to begin taking advantage completing your resident look-ups from within Kno2!
