The following steps should be completed by an Administrator. Prior to beginning, be sure to have your license key available. This will have been provided by a Kno2 representative or software vendor.

General Integration Configuration Detail

Network Client Key & Secret
Choose a single location from the network to perform this step. It will be completed one time per network.
Select Settings (gear icon).
Select API.
Select the Network API Settings tab.
Complete the following steps:
Select the Create Client Credentials button.
A confirmation window will appear.
Select the Create Client Credentials for <the current Kno2 instance> button to continue.
Store your key and secret in a secure location.
Select Copy Credentials to copy to the clipboard.
Paste and store these in a secure location for later entry into your EMR.
Select the Disabled button so that Enabled will be displayed, indicating that the service account is now enabled.
Enter the IP address(es) provided by your EMR (these are the public IP addresses of the server contacting Kno2).
Select Save IP Addresses.
Network License and Application ID for Access to API
Select Settings (gear icon).
Select Add-Ons.
Select the Licenses tab.
Recommended: Perform this step for the first time in the same organization as above. Only the first-time addition of this license key will generate the needed AppID (step 7, below).
Select the Enter Additional License button.
Paste the previously provided license key into the text box.
Select Save Changes.
Select the Applications tab.
Highlight and copy the App ID.
Paste and store this in a secure location for later entry into your EMR.
Integration Setup in your EMR
Please contact your EMR provider to obtain details about where to add the Kno2 information to establish the integration, including your generated: Key, Secret, AppID, and URL.
