Browser Requirements and Troubleshooting

Supported browsers for the Kno2 Connected™ app, how to clear your cache, and steps to troubleshoot common browser-related issues.

Written by Stacy Lane

The Kno2 Connected™ app is a web-based tool that handles sensitive patient information. To ensure security and full functionality, it requires a modern, up-to-date browser.

Supported Browsers

Use the most recent version of one of the following browsers. Google Chrome is preferred.

  • Chrome (preferred) — latest version recommended

  • Firefox — latest version recommended

  • Microsoft Edge — latest version recommended

  • Safari — latest version recommended

Clearing Your Browser Cache

Your browser stores data from websites you visit to make them load faster. Sometimes this saved data gets outdated or corrupted, which can cause issues in your Kno2 Connected™ app — such as:

  • Dropdown menus not displaying correctly

  • Saved information disappearing

  • Pages not loading as expected

Clearing your cache is usually the quickest first step to resolve these issues. Select your browser for step-by-step instructions:

After clearing your cache

  1. Refresh your browser to reload the latest version of your Kno2 Connected™ app.

  2. Check your browser settings to make sure automatic clearing isn't removing important saved information.

Still Experiencing Issues?

Start with these quick checks to help narrow down the cause:

  1. Check for browser updates. Open your browser settings and look for a Help or About section to confirm you're running the latest version.

  2. Try an Incognito or private browsing session. If the issue doesn't appear there, a browser extension or cached data is likely the cause.

  3. Try a different supported browser. If the issue doesn't occur in another browser, it's specific to your usual browser's configuration.

If the issue only appears for one specific user or on one particular computer, that user should contact their IT team directly — it's likely a device-specific or account configuration issue.

If the issue affects multiple users or devices, ask your IT team to confirm none of the following are interfering with the application:

  • An ad blocker or content filtering extension

  • Antivirus or security software blocking site functionality

  • A browser extension conflicting with the application

  • Network restrictions or firewall rules set by your organization

  • Issues with your internet service provider (ISP)

If your IT team confirms none of these are the cause, ask to speak with a member of the Kno2 Healthcare Network Services (HCNS) team.
