Kno2 is not a document repository. Messages and data are retained for limited periods, so download and store documents in your system of record promptly.

Retention timeframes:

After these periods, messages and data are automatically removed from Kno2 and cannot be recovered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I access a message from more than 180 days ago? No. Messages older than 180 days (approximately 6 months) in My Intake or older than 90 days (approximately 3 months) in the Released Grid are automatically removed and cannot be recovered.

Can I access a message from less than 180 days ago? Yes, if the message is in My Intake. Messages in My Intake are retained for 180 days (approximately 6 months). However, if the message is in the Released Grid, it will not be available since Released Grid messages are only retained for 90 days (approximately 3 months).

What happens to my messages after the retention period expires? Messages are permanently deleted from Kno2 and cannot be recovered. Always download and save important documents to your system of record before the retention period ends.

How do I know when a message will be deleted? Count from the date the message was received or released. My Intake messages expire 180 days after receipt. Released Grid messages expire 90 days after release.

Can Kno2 restore deleted messages? No. Once messages are removed after the retention period, they cannot be restored or recovered.
