Your Kno2 Connected™ app offers the following options for printing and downloading received faxes and Direct messages:
For quick printing without document changes, use Print from Browser. To delete or rotate pages, or to print multiple attachments at once, use Print with Desktop.
For quick downloading without document changes, use Download from Browser. To delete or rotate pages, or to download multiple attachments at once, use Download with Desktop.
Print from Browser
Click on a message in My Intake.
Ensure you have selected the attachment you wish to print (it will be highlighted yellow).
Click the grey printer icon on the toolbar above the message preview (note: if your window is minimized, you will see three grey lines; click them to access the collapsed menu).
Select your desired destination, pages, copies, and color, or use the default options.
Click Print.
If you need to mark the message as Processed, use the blue drop-down menu in the top right to select Mark as Processed.
Repeat for any additional attachments on the message you wish to print.
If your organization was registered prior to 8/30/24, your Kno2 Connected™ administrator will need to enable Printing from Browser to make this option available.
Print with Desktop
Click on a message in My Intake.
Select the blue Print icon:
A print modal will appear:
The selected attachments will be printed by default.
You may select if you want to print the message body.
You may select if you would like to mark the message as Processed, so it only shows up under the Processed filter.
A Print Task pop up will appear:
The attachments will print to your default printer.
Download from Browser
Click on a message in My Intake.
Ensure you have selected the attachment you wish to download (it will be highlighted yellow).

Click on a message in My Intake.
Ensure there is a First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and Gender included for the patient or add them using Patient Search, if available from your EHR. These details are used to name the file. You may fill out the other fields, if desired.
Assign a Document Type for each attachment.
Select the blue Download icon:
A download modal will appear:
The selected attachments will be downloaded by default.
You may select if you want to include the message body.
You may select if you would like to mark the message as Processed, so it only shows up under the Processed filter.
Click Download.
A Download Task pop up will appear:
The message and attachments will be downloaded from your Kno2 Connected™ app based upon the settings configured in Intake Download for your organization.
Non-Patient Export
The Non-patient Export option allows you to download faxes that are not patient-related. This option must be configured by your Kno2 Connected™ administrator as part of your Intake Download settings.
Open the fax message, triage message, or uploaded batch in My Intake.
Select the far-right drop-down arrow to expand the menu.
Select Non-Patient Export from the drop-down menu.
A modal will appear:
Click the checkbox to include the Message Body if desired.
Include Selected Attachment(s) will be checked by default.
You may mark the message as Processed so it only shows up under the Processed filter in My Intake.
Click Download w/Kno2 Desktop.
A Download Task pop up will appear:
The message and attachments will be downloaded from your Kno2 Connected™ app based upon the settings configured in Intake Download for your organization.
