If you have selected Okta as your Identity Provider

This guide is intended for Okta admins who are configuring Single Sign On (SSO) in Kno2. It provides details regarding how to enter information generated in your Kno2fy portal into the Okta portal.

Okta Setup

Sign into your Okta portal:

Once logged in, on the main dashboard there is a menu on the left side. Under the Applications heading, click Applications:

Click Create App Integration:

In the modal titled Create a new app integration, select SAML 2.0 and click Next:

Okta requires the app have a recognizable name for end users.

General Settings

Enter a name that makes sense for you and your organization to reference your kno2fy instance.

Once an App name has been entered, click Next:

Configure SAML

Enter the values copied from Kno2fy into SAML Settings:

Copy to the Single Sign on URL field in Okta

Copy to the Audience URI (SP Entity ID) field in Okta

Select Okta username in the dropdown next to Application username

Update application username on

Select Create and update in the dropdown next to Update application username on

Once complete, click Next to continue.

Select I’m an Okta customer adding an internal app and click Finish to finish the setup:


Copy Metadata URL

Click on the newly created Okta app:

Click Sign-On:

Copy the Metadata URL and paste it into Kno2fy to complete the Identity Provider setup:
