Push Notification Multi-Factor Authentication Setup

To configure multi-factor authentication with Push Notifications through Auth0 Guardian, follow the steps below or watch our video guide: Push Notification Setup.

Before attempting setup, verify that MFA has been enabled.

Setup MFA with Auth0 Guardian Push Notifications

Ensure you have the appropriate version of Auth0 Guardian installed:

Upon successful login to the web application, you will be presented with a QR code. Scan the QR code using Auth0 Guardian App from App Store.

Secure Your Account

Upon associating your Auth0 Guardian App you will have the ability to send a Push Notification.

A notification will show up on your mobile device to allow the login attempt.

Authentication Request

Copy Recovery Code

After allowing the login, you'll be provided a recovery code.

Please record this code somewhere safe in the event that you need to login without your device.

Complete Your Login

When you have safely recorded the code, check the box to confirm and select Continue to complete your login.

On subsequent logins, you will only be prompted to enter a security code to verify your login.

Your browser can be remembered for 30 days! This allows you to bypass entering a code for 30 days as long as you login on the same device and browser.
