If you are a Network Administrator, you can grant your users access to any of your Networked Kno2 organizations from Settings > Network Users.

Network admins should note the distinction between two main settings: Users and Network Users. Where standard admins see only 'Users,' network admins will instead manage 'Network Users.' This distinction reflects broader administrative privileges for managing account roles and permissions across the network.

  1. Search for and select the user whose account needs access to a Kno2 organization in your Network.

  2. Select the drop-down menu on the far right of the user line.

  3. Select Organization.

  4. Type the name of the Kno2 organization, select the desired Role (User or
Administrator) and their Primary Job Function.

  5. Select Add.

  6. Toggle to the Organization to manage the user's Send Permissions and Intake Rules for that Organization.

  7. Repeat steps 4-6 for any additional Organization(s) the user needs access to.

Difference Between 'Users' and 'Network Users'

The 'Users' and 'Network Users' tabs serve different purposes depending on the administrative role:

  • Users: A tab available to standard administrators for managing basic user roles and permissions.

  • Network Users: This tab replaces 'Users' for network administrators, enabling more advanced user management tasks at the network level.

Example of adding an organization for a network user.

If a Network User no longer needs access to an Organization, you can remove their access by clicking the Delete button (trash bin icon) to the right of the Organization.

Troubleshooting Network Users Access

If you are a network admin and cannot find the 'Network Users' option in your dashboard, please follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Verify Admin Status: Ensure your account is set as a network administrator. This setting can be confirmed under the 'Users' tab.

  2. Re-Log Into Your Account: Logging out and then back in can often resolve visibility issues.

  3. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, old cache and cookies may disrupt functionality. Clear them and refresh your browser.

If these actions do not resolve the problem, escalate the issue to the technical support team for further assistance.
