To avoid having to update your API settings due to Aprima password updates, you may set up a generic Kno2 User.
Create a generic ‘Kno2 User’ Active Directory account.
This Active Directory account should have a password compliant with internal security policies.
Access should be limited to the minimum necessary to access Aprima PRM.
In Kno2, navigate to Settings > API > Integrations > Aprima or Aprima V2
Click Edit (pencil) icon
Click Edit integration properties
Complete the following fields:
Username: Kno2 User
Password: <this is the Active Directory password created for Kno2 User>
ClientId: <Aprima Client ID, obtained within PRM under Aprima – Help – About window>
Click Save and check connection again by clicking on the circle with the check mark.
