Common PCC Issues

The following are important details to be aware of while using the PointClickCare integration.

PCC Upload Limit

PCC has a technical limit of 5mb per document.

Populating Patient Information fields

Ensure Patient Search is used to add Patient Details rather than hand-keying the information.

Oh no! "[Attachment name]" has failed validation. Please review and try again.

Ensure a Document Type is selected for each attachment.

Message is Suspended/cloud is red

  • A problem matching the patient information to your EMR chart.

  • A problem with the attachment, such as attachment size.

  • A problem with your integration's connection.

Error message in Kno2 - Oh no! Document Types

Clear Integration Cache from My Profile > Integrations > click the bin to delete the Integrations cache and the PCC tokens > Save Changes.

Discharged patient not in Search results

  • Ensure Show Inactive Patients checkbox is selected.

  • Confirm the discharge date is within the Date Range for Discharged Patients under Settings > API.

  • Ensure the patient's chart is not limited to the PCC Admin tab (needs to be in the Clinical tab).
