Creating an Intake Rule for faxes from a specified sender requires that the External "From" Fax Number be properly formatted. Please see the details below for the different formats of "From" numbers you may be receiving faxes from.
Navigate to Settings > Intake Rules.
Give the Rule a name relevant to the type of messages it governs, eg Faxes or click Edit on an existing rule to update it.
Confirm that the radio button "Kno2 Message" is selected.
Format the External "From" Fax Number field as follows: +15555555555 or +5555555555, depending on how the from number appears in My Intake. HINT: The Results section under the rule creation template displays received faxes that follow the rule.
Click inside the Assign To field to grant specific users permission to receive notifications and view messages, or click Add All to grant all users permission to receive notifications and view messages.
Click on the blue disk icon to save.
