How to Start a Port Out

The gaining carrier must submit a Local Service Request (LSR) to port@consensus.com. They may ask you to complete a Letter of Authorization (LOA), which they will use to fill out the LSR.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: All information on the LOA/LSR must match our provider records exactly. Wrong information will cause automatic rejection.

Ensure that your submission meets general accuracy standards, including correct carrier names, registered company details, and the precise service address to prevent delays or rejection.

Required Information - Use Exactly As Listed

Carrier: eFax

Account Number: 84381

Company: Kno2

Address: 404 South 8th Street, Boise, ID 83702

Authorized Person: Kristy Koyle

Billing Telephone Number (BTN): Your fax number

WARNING: You must use this exact information. Any changes will cause rejection.

Common Rejection Causes

Port requests get rejected when information does not match. This happens when:

  • Business name is different from "Kno2"

  • Authorized person is not "Kristy Koyle"

  • Address is not "404 South 8th Street, Boise, ID 83702"

  • Account number is not "84381"

If Your Port Gets Rejected

Follow these steps:

  1. Check that you used the exact information listed above

  2. Update the LOA with the correct information

  3. Resubmit the port request

Do not use:

  • Your company's physical address

  • Different business names

  • Other authorized signers

About PINs

Some carriers ask for a PIN. Important facts:

  • PINs are shared only between carriers

  • Kno2 does not have access to PINs

  • PINs are the final step in porting

  • This is a security feature
